Fernanda Beraldi
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Fernanda Beraldi joined Inotiv in April 2022 with a storied career in multinational corporate and commercial law and a passion for helping people. As general counsel and corporate secretary, her key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating company contracts, requests for proposals, and other legal documents, including vendor agreements, real estate leases, and construction contracts
- Consulting with management, commercial advisors, tax experts, accountants, and marketing staff
- Advising on employment matters
- Developing Inotiv’s policies on industry-specific issues, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs
- Reviewing, addressing, and guiding all company-related legal risks
- Ensuring that the board has the resources to fulfill its fiduciary duties to the company’s shareholders
Fernanda earned her LL.B. and her LL.M. degrees in corporate law from Sao Paulo, Brazil’s Mackenzie University. She also holds an LL.M. in corporate and commercial law from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law, cum laude. Beraldi was recognized as 2019’s Top 10 “30-somethings” from the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), and 2020’s “Forty Under 40” from the Indianapolis Business Journal. She is also the co-founder and current president of Business Ethics Indiana, a group of ethics and compliance senior leaders in Indiana with a mission to “promote ethical business practices and provide professional development that strengthens Indiana as a business ethics center of excellence.”
