Stewart Jacobson joined Inotiv in October 2019 as vice president of pathology, and was appointed senior vice president of pathology in June 2020. An accomplished executive skilled in strategic leadership, he brings nearly 20 years of experience to the company. His appointment allows Inotiv to accelerate the growth of its pathology center of excellence and represents an important milestone in the company’s succession planning.
Before becoming part of the Inotiv team, Jacobson held roles of increasing responsibility, leading teams and supporting nonclinical research, at multiple leading contract research organizations. He led operations for the anatomic and clinical pathology sections at Battelle Memorial Institute and held senior leadership positions at Shin Nippon Biomedical Laboratories (SNBL) USA, CVPath Institute, and Pathology Associates within Charles River Laboratories. Jacobson began his pathology career at Covance as a staff pathologist. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts, then completed a residency in veterinary anatomic pathology at the University of Connecticut.
