Caitlin Murphy has 10 years of experience as a researcher in developmental and reproductive toxicology and over five years of experience in designing, managing, and performing nonclinical general and developmental and reproductive toxicology studies. Prior to joining Inotiv in 2019, she was director of developmental and reproductive toxicology at Inotiv’s legacy company, Smithers Avanza Toxicology, following her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Texas at Austin in the division of pharmacology and toxicology.
Murphy is an elected member of the American College of Toxicology Education Committee, a member of the Society of Toxicology and of the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention. Murphy has over 20 publications/presentations in scientific journals and/or conferences. She received her bachelor’s in animal science from Oregon State University and her PhD in reproductive biology from the University of Wyoming.
