Brian Bond, Ph.D.

Brian R. Bond, Ph.D., leads Inotiv’s cardiorenal pharmacology offering, a position he began in 2021. He supervises and manages our cardiorenal lab in St. Louis, in addition to providing cross-site leadership and strategic direction for all pharmacology related issues. As part of his leadership responsibilities, Dr. Bond ensures our compliance with Good Research Practice, implements SOPs, and adheres to other principles, such as GLP, as appropriate for the study. He coordinates capabilities of in-life discovery laboratories to meet client needs, seamlessly integrating with other disciplines at Inotiv. This includes consulting and supporting the Drug Discovery program, along with providing mentorship to our study directors and study research associates as they perform pharmacology studies.

Prior to his time at Inotiv, Dr. Bond was a talented pharmacologist turned executive. He started his career as an associate research fellow at Pfizer for ten years, until becoming the director of pharmacology at the Center for World Health and Medicine in 2010. Just two years later he founded and served as president and CEO of Gateway Pharmacology Labs, a position he held until joining Inotiv’s team. His knowledge of both pharmacology and team leadership continues to enhance our pharmacology offerings.
